The three components of total cost
When using an EOR in Tunisia, the total cost includes:
- The net salary: set by profile, experience and market rates
- CNSS social contributions: employer and employee contributions (mandatory)
- EOR fees: the Employer of Record's management fee for administrative, legal and HR handling
Comparison with France
For the same profile (e.g. an experienced accountant with 5 years of experience), the total cost in France (gross salary + employer contributions) is generally 3 to 5 times higher than the total cost via EOR in Tunisia, for a comparable level of competence on standardised roles.
